These questions, presented in a multiple choice format, was invented by Aaron Beck. Beck is a psychiatrist and generally thought of as the father of cognitive based therapy.
The test was devised to help psychiatrist tell the difference between patients with depression and patients with anxiety.

Once you have scored your symptoms on a scale from 0 -3, add the scores together.
0 - 7
This reflects a low anxiety level. This may be a positive score, as long as you are not in denial of your anxiety levels. Make sure that you have not detached yourself from your real world and all that goes on in it.
8 - 21
Your score indicates a mild anxiety level. This might be a sign that you need to include relaxation techniques in your day to day life.
More than 22
You have very high anxiety levels.
